V-Power since '09-'10 is great - it is not just regular diesel with additives, it is in large part (if not all) gas to liquid diesel, extremely clean. I'm using it in my A1 1.6 TDI DPF and getting >6% better MPG - which offsets additional cost - regen kicks far less frequently, engine works noticeably better (more power/throttle response).

Most cleaning agents are solvents of some kind or other - like petrol. Now petrol running through a high pressure diesel pump is bad news as petrol has little or no lubricasting properties. However, whatever cleaning agents are in Shell V Power diesel, it has the same lubricity as Shell Fuel Save diesel. Ergo, no reported mechanical problems.
i know you may think im stupid, but off course i know to you diesel i think i can just use regular diesel. when i need to re-fill use shell v power diesel, next time use esso diesel etc just
