Fire TV and Apple TV users press Down two times on the directional pad on the remote. Arrow right over to the talk cloud icon. Press the Select/Center button to select it. THEN, AND ONLY THEN, DO THE SUBTITLES REAPPEAR, IT'S NOT EVEN A 100% GURANTEED EITHER, SOMETIMES THAT DOESN'T EVEN WORK. It does this on the HBO MAX Sony TV app, and it also does it when I'm casting it from my phone to my TV. I can't binge a fucking show on my TV anymore without losing subtitles for no apparent reason.
Don't mind the subtitles but I did notice, while starting to watch a movie yesterday, the subtitles glitched and it made the HBO Max app to shut down and restart. Really weird but once it rebooted, the issue didn't replicate.
