Ruane91 • 5 mo. ago. When it comes to both, Dead Island was a full game. Riptide should have been DLC. There was little and minor bugs in Riptide. The abilities for weapons were a lot better in Riptide. If you level up your characters on Dead Island, you can transfer them over to Riptide. I think the story is a lot better in the Original.

Being a party of 4 ppl and whacking slow moving zombies is a heckload of fun, but not needed.
