90s one is still great with lot's of stuff that was cut from the 2011 version for time (I mean pretty much solely in the Hunter Exam arc, and a little bit in the Greed Island arc, which also has stuff in the 2011 one that was cut from the 90s one, so you really should watch both) 90s one is a bit darker/somber in tone, especially in the Yorknew Arc Maybe around 90 or so with them. HxH 2011 is on episode 135 and counting. Yes, and the 2011 version started Greed Island earlier and has continued on past Greed Island. the 1999 version puts a lot of emphasis in the hunter exam, the good stuff is going to happen in the OVAs. Hunter X Hunter is definitely worth the watch. It consists of so many interesting main characters and if you consider all of their goals and subplots, the story just becomes even more unpredictable and is enough to hold the reader’s interest.
